If the gossipnets are to be believed, there’s a good chance that Jennie Garth will be a cast member of the new Beverly Hills 90210 series.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Garth recently quit CBS’ upcoming comedy pilot My Best Friend’s Girl. They also reported that Rob Thomas, writer of the 90210
spin-off, had been actively looking to recruit Garth to reprise her
role as Kelly Taylor.
No word on whether she’d be taking that much-coveted MILF role that Tori Spelling was lobbying for, but either way, I’m guessing that the perpetually under-employed Tori would be none too happy if Jennie Garth was cast and she was not.
C’est la vie. At least Tori has that gay icon thing to fall back on.

Despite what Daddy told her, Tori never could hold a candle to Jennie (in looks OR acting). Tori may fume, but will anybody really care? Well, except perhaps for somebody that is actually cheering Tori on to become the modern day Joan Crawford.
