Okay, so this was maybe not so smart. You now, seeing as he’s a big celebrity and a brand new dad of the most famous twins in the world and every telephoto lens in the universe is trained upon him right now and, also, you know, those little golf cart thingies? They can be dangerous. Especially for a little toddler, riding sans seatbelt, sans helmet, sans any safety precaution whatsoever.
Sure, tons of parents have done exactly this kind of thing. But they know that they shouldn’t. And they would hate to be called out for it. Because, again: toddlers + golf cart – seatbelt – helmet = dangerous. Factor in celebrity x 6 trillion + 2 gajillion eyes watching and what you have = bad news.
So, Brad: do the math.

SOME “POTENIALLY UNSAFE SITUATIONS” – WALKING DOWN THE STREET, PETTING A DOG, EATING HARD FOOD, RIDING TO THE ZOO, WALKING ON COBBLESTONE, LIVING IN THE CITY, LIVING IN THE SUBURBS, ETC. FOR ALL THATS HOLY PEOPLE NEWS FLASH SOMETHING CAN GO WRONG IN EVERY SITUATION SO ALL SITUATIONS ARE “UNSAFE” GUESS WE’D BETTER PUT THE CHILDREN IN A BUBBLE…BUT OMG WHAT IF IT SMOTHERS THEM. GEESH!
Nope no perfection here but I can say that I don’t put my kids in potentially unsafe situations. Why risk it?
It is ridiculous being always so moralistic about the others. Why not being kind, understanding? Are you all perfect parents? And if so.. are you sure about it?
Golf carts, ATVs etc, tip – sure maybe it doesn’t happen often, maybe some people are lucky and it NEVER happens. However, there IS a chance that it could tip, even on level ground – maybe he hits a rock, a bump, a pothole and frigging squirrel, whatevs, it COULD POSSIBLY tip and sorry, if it landed on his 2-year-old, she COULD POSSIBLY be seriously injured or worse. Accidents are called accidents for a reason – you never know when one might occur.
Seriously? If Britney pulled this and the cart tipped over people would FREAK OUT. Because, again, those bitches DO TIP. They’re not toys. Kids die every year. Just because YOU didn’t doesn’t mean it’s safe (GOD. How many drunk drivers make that exact same argument – “I do it all the time and never done killed nobody!” WOOT!)
And in any case – my point in this post was regardless of how safe he thought he was being by clipping her to his Gucci belt or whatever, he’s a parent under scrutiny and so should think these things through more carefully if he wants to NOT have nobody-little-gossip-bloggers like me go all finger-waggy on his ass.
I don’t think he should be scrutinized like they did with Brittany.. FOr pete’s sake She was on the freaking highway going way faster than i bet Brad and shilo are..
Lady in Georgia was killed last year in her golf cart. It jerked a bit and she tumbled out and hit her head on the pavement. That is all it takes. One teeny bump on the asphalt folks. He is a moron. But what they heck, they can always make more kids in their private petri dish.
If this is so dangerous, I should be dead right now. I mean, my dad was driving me around on the back of his motorcycle around our yard (a normal yard, not a celebrity estate) when I was a toddler. And I sat in his lap in the car to drive around the neighborhood. OMG!! Bad Daddy!
Are you freakin’ kidding me? Its a GOLF CART. This is a couple that traipses all over Africa with the kids, and you are worried about what will happen to her from not being strapped in in a GOLF CART? Ever heard of EBOLA?

Don’t you all have anything better to do than critisize people for trying to live a normal life,these peoplpe work harder than the average and y is it that everyone is always first to point their fingers at someone else for the very same thing everyone else does ,but God forbid an important person like brad and angie are just trying to survive all you nuts out there sneaking and acting like idiots for a picture of them,just leave them alone and maybe they can get on with their life and just maybe you will to just leave them all alone and let them try live half way normal life and have fun like all families do ,so if they don’t want the paparazzi to see their kids thats their right get over it someday down the road we will get to see the beautiful family they have,,,,,Y NOT JUST GO AWAY AND LEAVE THEM ALONE AND LET THEM HAVE A NORMAL LIFE
Golf carts tip over? Mine doesn’t. At least not on level ground (yet). Dad’s taking his little kid for a ride. He shouldn’t do that. Maybe a meteor will hit them. If they’re in California, the earth might open up and swallow them. If there’s a waterspout in the ocean, fish might fall from the sky and cause them to swerve out of control and hurt the baby! Lightning! What about lightning? Besides, George Bush is the president and we all know how he caused hurricanes and fires. Meteors, lightning, earthquakes, and waterspouts wouldn’t happen and golf carts wouldn’t tip over or explode if Barack Obama was the president.
No, Brad. You should be inside, where it’s safe. Lots of padding is good. You and the baby must do nothing that could be deemed to be unsafe. Anything could happen, at any time. Don’t you realize just how dangerous it is to be riding inside a vehicle with 4 wheels and a roof on flat ground with nothing around you? My God, man, you must be out of your mind, you wanton, reckless fool!!!
For the people that say golf carts tip over, yes they can- IF you take corners at MAX SPEED! If you are going for a regular ride, the odds of tipping are slim. Plus- most golf carts don’t even have seat belts, so the fact his does is a probably proof he is a good parent.
You don’t need a car seat in a golf cart, but I’m not sure that you should be balancing a toddler on your knee while you drive one. Those things tip over. Lots of kids get killed riding around in golf carts and ATVs every year. Maybe he’s comfortable with that, but he IS in the public eye and should expect to be criticized for this kind of thing.
Its not like he’s taking it off jumps…. holy crap papparazzis homos will do anything to make ppl look bad… Its a picture.. for all we know he could be going 2 mph…. get a damn life, just because you aren’t successful doesn’t mean you gotta bring down the successful….
Isn’t that a golf cart? I wasn’t aware that you needed a car seat in a golf cart? I would NEVER take my kids in the car without a properly installed car seat, but we do take them on rides on our farm property on 4 wheelers and we’ve driven them around in golf carts on our laps too. I guess we’re terrible parents!
Looks like she is in a carrier and he is wearing a seatbelt. I sometimes think this safety thing goes too far. I mean children do not need to wear a helmet while riding a merry go round. Do they?
I venture to guess this was taken on their property and that he is wiser than that!? They are living in quite the spread…..
