Obama Names Biden Vice President!

Updated: This is now official! Yeah, you heard it here first!

Barack Obama’s followers (and detractors) are filling internets, inboxes and cellphones with speculation that the presidential candidate has picked a running mate.

It is believed that Senator Joe Biden of Delaware will be the Vice Presidential Candidate on the 2008 Democratic ticket.

Some news agencies are already running the story, although no official word is expected until early Saturday morning.

Biden had 3 grown children and five grandchildren.  He lost his first wife and a child in a car accident in 1972.

He has a reputation for speaking his mind and having a quick tongue.  One of his most popular quotes was in regard to then-Republican candidate and frontrunner Rudy Giuliani “There’s only three things he mentions in a sentence: a noun, and a verb and 9/11.”

We’ll keep you posted.

Wonderful. Love Sen Biden. Experience in foreign affairs is what we need right now. I as surprised he did not get the nomination but I think he is not charismatic enough. Dems want a rock star, a hybird of JFK and MLK. Now Obama will win. Smart move from his advisors.
