ABC’s Bachelor Jason Mesnick Excited
ABC’s new ”Bachelor” Jason Mesnick is looking forward to finding love (hopefully!) on the 13th season (OMG there’s been 12 previous ones?) of the show. Mesnick, 32, is a single dad of a 3-year-old son, Ty, and admits he’s not been on a date since The Bachelorette, DeAnna Pappas rejected his marriage proposal. But fear not, the attractive father from Seattle, just may find the woman of his dreams (on a TV show *ahem*).
Mesnick tells Us Weekly, “I haven’t dated at all since DeAnna. I wanted to give myself time to heal so that when I got out there again I’d be ready to give whoever I am with the respect and attention she deserves.” Ya, all 25 of them.
“I am ready. I am open to giving these girls everything I can to find the one that is right for me. All I am missing, really, is someone to share my life with. There’s no guarantee but 25 girls? It’s a real opportunity to find just one.” Yup, after you make out with all of them, you’ll be able to narrow it down. There is making out on this show right?
Jason says shortly after the “After The Final Rose Special,” he was approached to do The Bachelor by the show’s producers. “All I could think was, ‘Oh man, I am so excited’ – mostly because really I am just the most regular guy you could ever come across and for this to be happening to me is unbelievable. It just leaves me completely speechless.”
I don’t watch the show, but, uh, good luck Jason – hope you find what you’re looking for.
