Britney On Broadway? Seriously?
Britney Spears on Broadway? Let’s not get crazy now. Brit’s new song Womanizer is burning up the charts, her video for it premieres on Friday and she’s also got a new fragrance coming out – all in time for the Christmas season. And she’s even talked about touring in 2009. That’s a lot to keep the pop singer busy, so why mess that up with acting? Don’t do it Britney….
According to reports though, Spears is seriously considering doing a stint on Broadway to help her comeback. Uh, hello? Anyone remember Crossroads?
Britney recently went to the Broadway musical In The Heights and it’s put ideas in her head to look for the right part to make her stage debut.
And according to MSNBC, she’s talked to Kevin Federline, daddy to her two sons, about possibly leaving Miami and heading to New York.
An insider said, “Britney always toys with the idea of going to New York. Obviously there’s no chance that is happening unless Kevin moves, too.”
Brit did mention she missed New York in her recent radio interview in the city and regrets that she sold her apartment in the Big Apple.
“Man, I wish I had my apartment here still. But I love New York City. The energy is crazy.”
Stick to a singing career Britney with no acting involved. Kthxbai.
