Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to Marry?

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have long maintained that they would not get married until the United States allowed same-sex marriage.  Said Pitt, “Angie and I will consider tying the knot when everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able.”

That hasn’t happened, although the superstars are doing what they can to support the cause.  Basically, No on Prop 8 means Yes on I do.

Jolie said recently in an interview with the Italian version of Vanity Fair, “Usually people fall in love and
everything revolves around the ritual of marriage, children are an
afterthought. We did everything backwards.

“But sooner or later it
will be the kids who ask us. You know, they see films
and start asking questions. Such as, ‘Why are Shrek and Fiona married
and you’re not?
“”

Yes, Shrek, the moral compass by which our lives find their way.

Good luck to the Jolie-Pitts, their kids and their cause.  And their ogres.

Maybe because I’m from a different culture I find this ‘when will they get married’ thing very amusing. They live together, they raise six children together, they have plans together, they’re commited to each other, but oh no, they’re not married, because there is no paper and there was no party. Gotta laugh. I myself have been not-married for ten years. Most of my friends who had weddings are now divorced.

yea yea don’t hate, you kinda sound upset;her comments only imply that it’ll happen someday-not that it’s anyone’s business when and if they choose to get married.your title made it seem like they had a date set for tomorrow or something
