Parents-to-be, who are dog owners, know it’s important that your pet will be submissive and accepting of the new baby. Sometimes dogs become more aggressive when a new, little person enters the home. Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz, who welcomed their first baby, Bronx Mowgli on November 20, wanted to be sure that their English bulldog, Hemingway, was well behaved before baby came. The couple brought home another English bulldog as a ”buddy” - Rigby, 5 months – but that just made Hemingway behave badly! They needed the “Dog Whisperer.”

Dog expert and TV show star, Cesar Millan aka the ”Dog Whisperer,” was called in to give Ashlee and Pete a helping hand before their first baby came home. The pair wanted to be sure their home was baby friendly and a safe place for their child.
But adding a new pup to the mix just made things worse with their bulldog, Hemingway, and he became more aggressive when Rigby entered the picture. Millian stepped in to give the (then expectant) parents some advice and the episode featuring the Wentz’s will air on National Geographic Channel on December 28 at 7 p.m.
Hopefully the dogs have been on their best behavior since Bronx’s arrival!
