Britney’s Circus #1 on the Charts
Riding that Comeback Train all the way to the bank, Britney Spears now has the number 1 album in the country. “Circus” has already sold more than 500,000 copies after just a week in release, by far the top album.
Brit’s manager, Larry Rudolph, says, “I think she is America’s pop princess, and the world’s pop princess. This just reconfirms it to everyone who doubted it.” One blogger on Britney’s official web site said, “Suck on that, haters.”
It’s a wonderful birthday present for Britney, who turned 27 the day the album was released. Last year’s “Blackout” was also a number 1 album for Brit, but when her life went into a nasty downward spiral, so did the sales of her album. This year, she actually seems t have her crap together.
Britney kicks off a national tour next March.

Circus is a good album and I’m excited for her comeback. I’ve always been a Britney fan so (except for Toxic and Slave 4 U ::shudder::) I’m excited.
I just hope she doesn’t go nuts again before April!!
