His trip to Dubai has raised security concerns about terrorist attacks. The roads around the venue where he will be training and playing will more than likely be closed off to the public.
The authorities are treating David Beckham’s visit like a state visit. Sources said that, “We are planning it as if it is a state visit. Security measures could not be any higher. We’re used to stars coming to Dubai but what makes this different are the public appearances he will be making – autograph signing and training sessions.”
