Jett Travolta, the sixteen year old son of John Travolta, died today in the Bahamas.

Rand Memorial Hospital in the Bahamas tells TMZ the son of John Travolta died today.
Travolta’s attorney Michael Ossi says Jett suffered a seizure at his
family’s vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama
Island. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful and he died on scene.
Apparently, the death was caused when Jett fell and struck his head on a bathtub, presumably mid-seizure. Representatives for the family have not released any further information.
It has long been reported that Jett Travolta was autistic, but the Travoltas have long denied it and instead stated that he suffered from Kawasaki Syndrome. Reports have not yet stated whether the boy’s death was related to that syndrome.

The death of a child is so heartbreaking no matter the circumstances. It seems even more tragic when it is unexpected. Unfortunately the Travolta and Preston family will now experience a generation of grief where once there was joy.

I was shocked to hear abot Jett’s Very untimly death.I’m a huge fan of John’s and I pray that with God’s help they will get through this.And you,WEIRD are the scum of the earth for saying what you said about John getting rid of his own child.I can’t believe ANYONE would write something like that at this horrible time for John and Kelly!My God Bless and be you you all (Travolta’s) through this sad time.I feel like that other person that said I feel like I lost a member of my own family.And for you WEIRD! I Just wanted to say how sorry I am for the Travolta Family’s loss. I am a very big J.T. fan and know all of his work. My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire family. This is not how the new year was suppose to start!

this is extremely sad… to lose a child…so tragic especially at the start of a new year.
Is it possible that this wasn’t an accident afterall, but a permanent way to get rid of his “problem” of a child, u know, he was in major denial about his son being autistic and gave him the silent treatment..

Despite living in Brazil and have never had contact with the Family Travolta, I feel a deep regret at the circumstances.
Since I was a teenager already appreciated the films of John Travolta, and that happens to the current days.
It is as if a close relative had my deceased.
My condolences to the Family Travolta. And God, in His eternal wisdom, to nurture the hearts of them.
