Britney Threatens to Cancel Tour
Britney Spears says she’s going to cancel her coming “Circus” tour unless she can bring her kids on the road with her. Brit, 27, is supposed to start the 33-date tour in New Orleans early next month. However, she is threatening to skip the tour.
Ex-husband Kevin Federline and his lawyers are blocking the agreement that would allow her to take boys Sean Preston and Jayden James with her on the tour bus. Brit’s dad is said to be negotiating with K-Fed’s lawyers to have the kids travel with Brit. The boys would have 3 home bases to stay at…one in New Jersey, one in New Orleans, and one in Los Angeles. Sean and Jayden would stay at one of these homes and Britney would commute back and forth during her tour to see the boys.
On top of that, Britney would agree to get Kevin his own house in each of these three locations for the tour, and pay him more than $4,000 a week during the tour.
I don’t know, sounds like a pretty reasonable deal to me. Britney’s lawyers are said to hate the deal, though they don’t say why. If I were K-Fed, I’d be all over that. It’s not like he’s got a salary or anything.
This isn’t the first reported problem with the tour, either. Jamie Spears has purportedly been putting a dampener on the tour recently.
