David Cameron is the popular leader of the Conservative Party in the United Kingdom.
He and his family have suffered a terrible tragedy.
Their eldest son, six-year-old Ivan, died early this morning.
According to Hello magazine Ivan had cerebral palsy and epilepsy. He fell ill Tuesday night “and was taken to St Mary’s hospital where he died early Wednesday.”
David and his wife Samantha also have a daughter, Nancy, and a son named Arthur.
From Hello: “Prime Minister Gordon Brown was one of the first to send condolences, saying the prayers of the country were with the family. “I know Ivan was a child who brought joy to all those who knew him and his was a life surrounded by love,” he added.”
