I’ve seen “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ a gajillion times. It’s one of those fascinating shows, though perhaps more fascinating if you have multiples. Granted, I only have twins and not sextuplets, but still…the logistics of running a household with 8 children is just something else.
And now it seems the “perfect couple” – Jon and Kate Gosselin – aren’t so perfect, after all. In fact, rumor has it that Jon is out cavorting around with young women, acting very unmarried. Jon has been out drinking and partying with lots of college women lately.
He recently turned up uninvited to a college party and played beer pong with the women’s volleyball team. “He was acting like a drunk, girl-chasing frat boy,” one team member said. “It really disturbed me. On the show he is so nice, but here, he was acting like an idiot.”
Then, the next night, Jon wound up at Memories Sports Bar & Grill, in PA. “He was dirty dancing with several girls from the volleyball team, making out, kissing them on their necks and mouths,” a witness says.
“He was all over one girl, a long-haired blonde who’s nearly 6 feet tall. He left with several of the girls, including her.”
Ugh. If that’s not douchebaggery on display, I don’t know what is. You’ve got a wife and kids at home and THAT’S how you behave? Bet you won’t see that crap on their reality show any time soon. But it’d be a heck of a trainwreck to watch Kate beat the ever-loving snot out of Jon.

I love Jon and Kate plus 8 but i really dont think Jon would do something like that. I have never met the Gosselins so i dont know whether they have divorced or not, if they have i am really ashamed of Jon for cheating on his wife. I really dont know why virtually everyone hates Kate Gosselin because she is a really good parent i mean the way she feeds them organic food is because she loves her kids to bits and she wants them to be as healthy as can be.
I don’t feel that Kate is a good candidate to raise 8 kids at all. She’s a good parent but she needs to calm down and let life happen and let her kids be kids. Shame on Jon if he is cheating, but we can all see that she could try to be much nicer. If they are truely that unhappy then they need to end things.
Jon and Kate knew what they were getting themselves into when they signed the contract year after year for the show to air. No suddenly its taking a toll on him, and he can’t be Jon…just “Jon & Kate plus eight…” on come on please. Of course having cameras in your home, in your personal space is annoying but they knew it. Cheating on Kate is no excuse. He shouldn’t blame it on the show or on Kate being a BITCH. She was like that when you married her and had all these kids with her. She just didn’t become like that over night. I think they should just cancel the show and let them live their lives as a normal family. We’ve seen the kids grow and we’ve seen Kate boss him around long enough. You’ve made your money to clothe, fead and care for those children and Kate being a shrew, a perfectionist, a germophob and not to lift a fingure doing anything.
Live a day in her life before you pass judgement on her “attitude.” We have triplets and there isn’t a day that passes without moments of complete insanity….and that’s with three, I can’t imagine their lives with eight!

However over the past seasons, I dont really think Kate treate Jon fairly, she always pushed jon to the edges n wont let him speak.
Whenever she got problem she tend to ask Jon to settle that which she can have her own time but jon can only be free of kids while working.
I think jon isnt smart at all, but this is a reality show, they are not following scripts, they are who they are, noone is prefect. In the show jon is pretty nice, but sometimes he’s kindness is due to his idiotic thoughts. so how can u expect he wont escape away from the pressure by telling his stubborn wife?

Now, Jon went out to play beer pong and 2 girls asked for a pic with him he did… and so that means he’s cheating? I dont think so. SO… you husbands and boyfriends cant go out for a beer with some friends? Jon is a relativly smart guy and if he was going to cheat I doubt he would be so dumb as to do it in public. I have seen the picture and to me it looks like he is taking a pic with fans. He does appear to be buzzed OR it is a bad shot, taken in mid-blink, which you see day in and day out with famous people. Jon & Kate, I think, are no different than anyone else, whose wife doesnt complain. Kate appears to complain alot, but I caught myself complaining to my husband a few days ago about something so stupid. Kate is just caught on tape and put on t.v. for everyone to judge. Yes, I know they signed up for this, but when you have 8 babies to feed you will do what you have to, trust me, I would do ANYTHING for my 1 year old son!

My is not a comment, it is a question. How does Kate feelings about the rumours that are going around about Jon? Has anyone asked how she feels about this whole thing. Yes, she is bossy with Jon and very controlling with Jon. But Jon must of known that Kate was bossy and controlling, be for they got married. There is two sides of the story and nobody has asked how Kate feels. NO I am not on Kate side or Jon’s side. It is just a question.
What makes me the most angry is that if Jon has been straying it will just give Kate another reason to feel superior. Anyone who acts the way she does will now play the victim card. Then I found I just couldn’t stand her any more then one 30 minute episode a week. And anyone who has raised even one child knows how expensive the task can be – wouldn’t you accept financial help, especially if it allowed you to be at home with your children?
5. Regarding a comment that someone made about Kate appearing on TV without her children. On what planet must a parent constantly be at their children’s sides? Moms and Dads both need to have time away from their children in order to remain sane and retain their ability to be good parents.
6. Regarding Jon and Kate’s relationship…. Did he cheat? Does she deserve it for being a “bitch” or a “nag”? Are they headed for divorce? What about the kids? Etcetera, etcetera…. Answer to all of the above: none of our fn business! I know that they have agreed to share their lives on TV for the masses to see, but I believe this is out of necessity, not out of a need to exhibit each and every detail of their lives. When it comes down to it, their marital relationship is their business and no one else’s. The dynamic of a marriage and a family can only be understood by those within the marriage and the family. Also, I think that any mature person would agree that it takes two people to make or break a relationship (unless one spouse is secretly a murderer [a la BTK] or something), so it is simple and unfair to demonize either Jon for “cheating” or Kate for “bitching”.

I want to say that Kate is one of the best Mom’s I’ve seen in real life, or on TV. And honestly, I think her husband is at least as disrespectful and rude towards her as she is to him. Everyone is talking about what a B…. Kate is, but I think y’all fail to realize this woman has EIGHT kids. Most people are about to lose their marbles over three or four. Ever had to deal with the “Terrible Twos?” Well try doing that times six. You remember the episode where they all went to Utah for a skiing trip? She broke down crying from all the stress. Of course it’s going to get to a point where niceties are not a priority anymore and just getting through the day is a blessing. The stress from having all those kids has to be enormous. And stress doesn’t bring out the best in people and that’s what we, the viewers see. Put yourself in the shoes of these parents for 3 hours and see how well you cope.
I mean seriously think about this. Kate has long been type-cast as the annoying wife. So of course, TLC is going to edit the shows to show her as the annoying wife. We don’t see these people 24/7. No matter how well we think we know them, we don’t and we never will unless we seriously lived with them.
And about Cara… that girl had her life flipped upside down by six bundles of joy. Sibling jealousy is not an uncommon occurrence in families, and that happens with just one new child. Try having six of them come into your world. Of course she’s going to act out because she is a child, and she wants some attention too. You seriously expect her to think or act like an adult in a situation like that? She’s only eight!
before you judge these people, this man, or this woman, seriously put yourself in their shoes. Every thing that normally happens in a family is multiplied to the -umpteenth power. It’s a wonder they’ve made it this long.
As Christians, we are so quick to point out the flaws in other Christians. But we all fall short of the glory of God and will always do so.

I think it is sad that we (society) are sooo willing to believe the worst…The pictures I’ve seen don’t look like Jon at all (check out the teeth-completely different). Yes, Jon & Kate have their ups and down, Yes, they get FREE stuff, Yes, they LOVE their kids, YES, they make money from filming their lives (and the kids’ lives)…BUT, they are REAL people, a REAL couple, with REAL kids. I am sorry, but what the ‘fans’ are doing right now (creating doubt and havoc in the lives of a FAMILY), is not in the best interest of the Gosselin kids…IF, the rumors are true (which I personally do not believe), then Jon & Kate have lots of work to do to fix things for their family. Just an aside..If the Gosselin’s really are being raised by nannies and housekeepers, then why are they so attached to their parents on the show? I watch the show, not religiously but frequently. I used to be like Kate. When I got divorced, and it was all in front of me, then did I learn that I was not a nice person. With lots of professional help, I have cleaned up my act and have learned to treat my current of 14 years as an adult and not like one of the kids. This comes to three levels of the foundation, 1. Parent, 2. Adult, 3. Child. They both must be at the adult level or this relationship will never work. It will eventually crumble and be dirty. They have 8 children that did not sign up for this, John and Kate did and must have realized what a giant commitment a family of this size would require. I am surprised that TLC continues taping these shows, because it is not just showing how a family deals with 8 children, but it shows a guy who puts up with verbal abuse. that is an example of how things are unfair to the one who stays home (generally mums)….they get low pai, though fortunatelly they havechance to share the most great moments of child development (also the other boring routine stuff), plus takin care of house, plus (sometimes) finances too. You know what? Many parents around the world, who lose a kids, who fight cancers or others deadly diseases with their kids or simply raise kids the best they can. everybody have their own reality show. Any reason would be good and it’ll be as good as Jon and Kate.

From what I have seen on the show, the two early thirty-somethings are remarkably mature, and committed to a covenant marriage. This means they have entered into their marriage with God. Speculating about their character is unseemly. Name calling, really, the children on the show have better manners than the postings here. Pray this too shall pass for them, that the scandalizing will stop, and that they make the best decisions for their families. Marriage is never easy. With 8 small children, it is probably very strained at times, but what I see are very loving children, supportive friends, and a man and wife trying to navigate the ups and downs their life is throwing at them.

He is so immature and just acts like one of the kids. He needs to grow up and perhaps she wouldn’t be the way she is. She has a large load on her shoulders and Jon just makes it harder. It seems like she has 9 children instead of 8.
They won’t get a divorce until the kids are full grown. They couldn’t afford it! Can you imagine the child support?! And despite that, w/out them together, they wouldn’t have a successful reality show. I’ve thought many times that 8 kids are sure to bring a lot of stress on them and their relationship; but I’m sure it also forces them to face their relationship problems and deal with them.
Once the kiddos are grown, things will be a different story. Hopefully, between now and then, Kate will learn the idea of submission and loving and praising your husband (even when sometimes you don’t want to), and he will learn to be a strong husband that doesn’t cower under his wife’s strong personality (without abusing the powerful role).
There’s no doubt in my mind that they truly love each other – and truly drive each other crazy a lot of the time. I pray they work through every problem, day by day! And that they don’t just last “for the kids”, but for the vows they made (twice).

Honestly, think about it. Supposedly at a party with a bunch of college kids, why wouldn’t just one of them take out a phone and click a pic. It doesn’t make sense, sounds like one big teaser. And it worked too, it’s being discussed everywhere.
When you get married and their are kids involved, you should consider what will happen to them if you are out making a fool out of yourself. Kate has not cheated that we know of, but has talked to Jon like he was a 10 year old. Still no excuse to be out parting with kids and a wife at home, or maybe this was done when Kate was out of town. When your life is an open book like the gosselin’s is, You should be on much better behavor.
I won’t excuse any actions of cheating, that’s not cool no matter how many kids you have or how nagging your wife is. But we all remember when on Little People Big World, Matt Roloff had a DUI and the show just made a a big TV event out of it, they will do this with Jon and Kate Plus 8 and since we are all so interested in this story (myself included) we will watch that episode of the show (and I’m sure lots of extra viewers will tune in for it) we can’t really talk…As bad as what he did is…we are all interested in it, so they’ll just make money off it.
Now you see why this immature man/boy has to have someone take him by the hand and tell him everything to do to do his part to take care of his children.

Didn’t you see how mean he was to his little children when he made them take that long trek through the woods behind their new house? He was tired and wanted to go home but it was okay for him to walk away from his crying babies, begging him to wait for them as they tripped over logs and debris and irregular ground. I think they will go on hiatus for a while to get out of the spotlight. I think these rumours are what prompted this decision. They know it could ruin their marriage and they must want to go back to their “private” lives to get back to being “normal” again.

Jon and Kate, this show is CRAZY!! How do you sell your kids to feed them. They should have never have taken fertility drugs, because the liklihood of having more than two/three is highly possible. Nobody these days could logically feed eight kids on a good salary. Kate is a HORRIBLE wife, she treats Jon like he is one of the kids. When he does help her she puts him down. It’s true, Jon has recently been traveling to nearby colleges to speak with students. It makes perfect sense that he was out playing with college chicks. Whoever says it’s not true because Jon doesn’t have enough time between work and the house, well he does. Each parent does little business trips frequently, little things you won’t catch from the show which only records on special occasions and such. We’ll just have to see in the season finale on what is happening… if they even speak about a separation… but then they probably have a contract and can’t separate or they will lose money and won’t be able to support their $1.3 million home…

Kate hasnt worked for several years and neither has Jon. They admit to that on one of their shows. If you see them working that is one of the very old shows. They were normal in the beginning until the show went to Kate’s head and now she thinks she is a movie star. I think we can all judge at how Kate treats Jon, but no one REALLY knows, unless you personally konw them. Sure, on the show it seems like she yells and gets upset with him a lot, but he does the same thing. They’re probably both at the end of their ropes half the time, as anyone would be with that many young kids. He shouldn’t be going to bars (or anywhere for that matter) where a questionable situation might occur and then could just avoid anything like this. I love this show! I am so grateful this couple decided to let us be apart of their lives. I have been concerned about the “put-downs” from Kate for awhile. Unfortunately, her words are as all women’s to their husbands, she can make him or break him with words every day! I hope they can continue the show and their marriage. Maybe they can learn from this. I do wish she would show her appreciation for all he does and he just takes whatever she says. I believe they love each other but in time they will truly grow apart it she isn’t careful.I pray God gives them greater love for each other and they are able to remember their love in the beginning!

Hey Barry G…. perhaps that nagging is because you are lazy. I have a brother in law who could be your twin. Help those two boys of yours fit into society. I talk to my sister nearly every day and the one thing she keeps telling me is how lazy her husband is. But, she won’t leave him because he is very shrewd when it comes to money. Those two German Shepherd puppies are expensive to keep up. Hip dysplasia, intestinal problems and heart defects plague the breed. Why did they get those dogs? Why didn’t they just go to the SPCA and adopt two puppies that needed a home. My sister paid $2,500.00 for her purebred German shepherd from Germany. The vet told her the dog has a heart valve defect and also has chronic diarrhea. Her husband won’t clean up after the dog. At least Jon picks up the dog doo.

I was forced to watched the show with my wife and I have finally gotten her to see the truly mean side of Kate. She treats Jon like crap but it’s his fault that he stands there and takes it. She is also mean spirited to other people. If you take the recent show where they went to get the two dogs. One, they are the kids dogs, let them name them for Christ’s sake. Two, when they first got there, the guy who sold them the dogs was making small talk as anyone would and they go back to the clip of Jon and Kate talking about it and Kate says something like “I wasn’t really paying attention to him, all I hear is bla, bla, bla, bla.” I don’t care whether you’re interested in what someone is saying but that is just flat out rude to say that on national tv. It just shows how nasty she is towards everyone she comes across. I have seen her treat people badly, treat her kids badly and her husband. I could understand some people saying that we only see them in a tv show once a week but when you do enough shows, it does give you a good idea of how a person really is. I think this is all gone to her head. It’s beyond me who pays her to speak and I after reading more about the way she treats people and seeing it for several years, I can honestly say, I will not spend anymore time watching that witch. I wish she would respond to negative emails because I would love to give her an ear full. For those of you that think some of us on here are being negative and that we don’t know her, etc, wake up. It is so blatently obvious how she is towards other people in her life. Look at the fact that they are not close to anyone in there family. There is a reason for that. If you watch the shows progress from the first season to now, it has changed them both in a big way. Jon has become pretty full of himself, probably thinks he’s quite the stud which my wife says he is not and obviously the girls from the volleyball team agree since several of them thought he was like a dirty old man. And Kate’s head has gotten so big, I’m surprised anyone can be in the same room with her. I would hate to see them get a divorce for the kid’s sake because I think that really impacts kids in a negative way their whole lives but I can certainly understand why he would at least be thinking quite a bit about other women. I used to focus more on the physical qualities of women but as I’ve gotten older and wiser, there is nothing like a good personality and a sense of humor. Oh, and that’s another thing, Kate is always laughing at her “jokes” if you can call them that. First of all, you never laugh at your own jokes, it comes off all wrong and looks ignorant especially when you aren’t funny. I could go on and on obviously because I can’t stand that woman but if Jon can’t stand up to her, maybe they are made for each other.

It absolutely disgusts me that some of you would excuse his cheating, blaming it on the way she treats him. I am not saying that she treats him well, but as I’m sure the majority of us have never spent a day in her shoes, taking care of eight kids, or anywhere close to it, we cannot judge. I think that when he took pictures with these college girls, who may be fans of the show, got taken out of context. They are college students who were at a bar. How credible is this story????? In one report it said he was in the area helping a family member. So I think he decided to go out but never intended people to go that far. These college students obviously wanted their 15 minute of fame.

Kate has always been the stronger of the two. In each relationship there is natually one that thakes the lead. If he had would everyone be on his back I think not. Because honestly, it doesn’t look like him. Yes, when people are drunk they tend to look a little…brighter than normal. But going off this single picture, which was probably a fan-based picture, is ridiculous. Get a life people. This is old news.
The show is heavily editted to make Kate seem like she consistently badgers Jon. It makes the show more interesting. The crews are only in the house three, maybe four, days out of the week. There was an entire segment on that.
Two, do you honestly think somoene as high profile, especially being known for being a husband and father to EIGHT kids, would be dumb enough to do that? Do you not think that someone who slightly resembles Jon went to that area to stir up some controversy? Honestly people. Jumping to conclusions isn’t helpful. And calling Kate a bitch, a nagging wife and all crap isn’t correct either. As stated previously, we’re in thier lives for a half hour each week. Three full days crunched into a half hour doesn’t give time to show how much they really love each other. If Jon was truly fed up with Kate, don’t you think we’d know about it by now?
Third, someone brought up the Duggers. While I’ve only watched a few episodes, I don’t think comparing the Gosselins and Duggers is the smartest idea. Yes, the Duggers have a lot of children, but they are not all toddlers at the same time as the Gosselins are. If memory serves me, some of the Duggers are in college and one is married (or getting married, as I stated, I don’t watch the show religiously). Both families knew what they were getting into and they’ve both handled it well. And so what if Jon and Kate don’t have ‘real’ jobs? Kate earns her money by appearing on talkshows and they get help from sponsers. If you think the Duggers aren’t getting any financial help you’re wrong.

Neither parent “works”. He quit his IT job and working for his friend quite a while ago. Yes, being an at home parent to 8 kids under the age of ten is a full time job, but again neither parent is out working.

I agree with Noe. This story originated from the NATIONAL ENQUIRER….need I say more??? I agree that Kate is a control freak and has treated John rudely on a few ocassions, but walk in Kate’s shoes for a day and see how you handle the stress. I have 1 child and wish I could be half as organized as she is. I love the show and I love Jon and Kate together. They are not perfect, but what marriage is? Would you or your marriage be scrutinized if you were under the magnifying glass? Food for thought….
Keep in mind these are all ALLEGED accusations.
First of all, everyone on here (including myself) only know them from their tv show, not personally. I can’t believe people would go as far to say “good for jon” or “kate deserves it.” No one deserves to have their heartbroken. I feel for the whole family. If it turns out to be true, Kate is going to be devasted all the while America will sit back and watch her. Jon will be loathed by every woman from coast to coast, and the kids will have to go through the embarassment and whatever outcome of a their parents’ public marital issues. If everything turns out to be false, they will all have to go deal with the unecessary scrutiny. Also, Kate may appear to be crabby but remember that you are only seeing a half hour of their life in each segment. There is a LOT of editing on reality tv. There is a lot of footage that shows how much she cares for her entire family. The same goes for Jon. Maybe the film that didnt make the cut is of him standing up for himself, because I have seen him defend himself on the show a few times. Do not judge either one of them until you know and understand them. Do not sit here and throw stones, rather hope that everything turns out well for them because they are two normal people trying to deal with the stress of what God gave them. Pray that it is false to spare this family from the emotional struggle that comes with adultry. But if it is true pray they can grow stronger from one mistake.

Yes, Kate treats Jon quite rudly. But, he rarely stands up for himself. He’s pretty much telling her to do that.
Now, NOBODY, underline NOBODY, deserves this. He has 8 kids, 8 kids! No matter how much they hide this from them now, there gonna get older. They are going to find these stories and they are going to majorly resent there dad. He should have though of that, too.
As a husband and a father, he should have been man enough to tell Kate about how he feels, NOT go flirt with girls 10 years younger!

Oh, and for the people are are confused. Jon and Kate DO NOT work. Kate DID work as a nurse, but she quit, completly. Jon was working but just recently quit to be with the kids. I’m positive about that. They said it in a recent show.
Regardless of how Kate treats Jon there is no reason for him to be going to bars and college parties with young girls. He has a wife and children and he needs to set his priorities straight. If he feels the need to spend so much time away from his family he should get a divorce.
How do you guys think they would run that family if Kate didn’t take control over it all. I can understand her out burst to Jon, who else will help her vent. No matter how she treats him, there is no reason to cause his family shame in front of the world to see.

I think its great that Jon is getting away from Kate with the way she treats him. She embarasses him all the time with the way she yells at him. I hope she gets what she deserves. I do feel sorry for the kids, they don’t deserve this.

None of us know what it’s like in their home when the cameras are off. Kate quit her nursing job to be a fulltime mom. I agree she is a little uptight but, who wouldn’t be trying to keep everyone on schedule and everything clean. The kids have rules and actually behave well, on camera. Jon and Kate have a lot on their hands and are doing better than some parents with only one kid! She has to be strict I know i’d be. There has to be so much stress in raising that many kids all that young. I doubt it’s true. All the gossip rags need something to write about since britney is doing well and lohan is still with sam.

They no longer work or have jobs other than exploiting their kids for money, vacations, clothes, and anything else they can get and this is the price they pay. They don’t seem to appreciate anything they have been blessed with-especially Kate Gosselin. I find it very sad.
I know that this is true. I live in the area and have seen pics of Jon with the girls at the party and at the bar. Plus, a few friends saw him eat Memories. They said it was NUTS! People were all over him, and he wasn’t backing away from any of it! Sooooo, about the “cheating” I think it might all be a hoax for publicity or more filming ideas. I would think someone with as high as a profile as Jon would not willingly allow pics to be taken of him all over some college girls.
I think that they should work things out for the childrens sake. They have eight beautiful children. I watch there show all the time, and enjoy it very much. I love watching the kids and the both of them. It’s hard for a married couple with eight kids. They [jon and kate] also need some tender loving care, and to let there hair down a little. After all they are human too. I don’t think that Jon did anything wrong exept wanting to have a little fun. It would be a sin if they split because they have a lot going for them and the kids. I hope that they work it out, which they should.
Kate treats Jon like absolute shit. I wouldn’t be surprised if he is cheating. Jon on the other hand, needs to stand up for himself. He lets her stomp all over him. Together, they’re not setting a good example for the kids on how to treat your spouse in relationships.
I agree with Risdn: one of the reasons why men cheat is because they don’t feel appreciated or respected, and this is apparent in Jon and Kate’s case.

jon does work. he works from like 6-6 and kate works as a nurse like 12 hour shifts. they are great and their life is great and some people on here are so inconsiderate

JON DOESN’T WORK. Don’t you watch the show? Him and Kate are supported by the Tups. Kate doesn’t work either. People are paid to cook for them, clean for them, raise their kids, everything. Kate is hardly ever home, she goes on the talk circuits alone now. This give Jon time to play. To say he can’t be cheating because he is always at home or at work just shows how uninformed you are.
I feel that what jon did was really bad. Although Kate nags him all the time, he shouldn’t have done what he did. Honestly, how old is he? Doesn’t he know better? I mean he have 8 kids at home and a loving wife. If she didn’t love him, than she wouldn’t have nagged him. Additionally, they’ve been together for what? 10 years? How is that a mistake?
