Salma Hayek doesn’t regret waiting to become a mom in her 40s. She believes she’s more fulfilled at this stage in her life and that benefits her daughter Valentina Paloma, now 18-months-old.
In the latest issue of WebMD magazine, the 42-year-old actress dishes on motherhood.
Salma wasn’t sure if she and now husband Francois-Henri Pinault could even conceive.
“I thought I was going to need help getting pregnant, and I didn’t.” And Salma is glad she waited to have kids. “I’m a more fulfilled being now, and I probably wouldn’t have been 10 years ago. She gets a better mother for being born now.”
Will she and Francois have more kids? Possibly! Even though her pregnancy with Valentina was a bit complicated.
“I was nauseous for the whole nine months, and the only thing I craved was fruit – cold mango, watermelon.”
