Shanna Moakler Resigns From Miss California Pageant
Shanna Moakler just resigned from her position as co-executive director of the Miss California pageant.
She explained her reason in a statement: “Since the press conference yesterday, I had a chance to think about what has taken place, and I feel that at this time it is in my best interest to resign from the Miss California USA organization. I can not with a clear conscious move forward supporting and promoting the Miss Universe Organization when I no longer believe in it, or the contracts I signed committing myself as a youth. I want to be a role model for young woman with high hopes of pageantry, but now feel it more important to be a role model for my children. I am sorry and hope I have not let any young supporters down but wish them the best of luck in fulfilling their dreams.”
That’s a big step to take and good for her, standing up for what she believes is the right thing for her to do. Sometimes it’s hard to get out of a situation that you feel uncomfortable with, because you don’t want to disappoint anyone.
That in itself is a great example for girls. You are never stuck in a situation, no matter how sticky it feels.

Well, speaking in terms that she is comfortable with I have to say that Shanna Moakler is a dumb bitch. Good riddance, bigot.
This Miss CA hasn’t done (nude pics, yawn) or said anything unusual (um the pres and Hillary have said the same crap about same sex marriage). Why is everyone so up in arms? I personally think its a stunt by Trump and his people to try and revive interest in an event that nobody cares about anymore. Anyone remember all the stuff from last year? The scandal was a pageant queen going to rehabI think. What will they come up with next year?
