Move over Octo-Mom, there’s a new incredible mothering story going around that’s sure to rocket Dallas’ own Mia Washington into celebrity (or at least freak show) status.
11 months after giving birth to twins Justin and Jordan, doctors at a DNA lab in Dallas made a shocking discovery. Her twins had two different fathers — which at the very least blows my mind and challenges my definition of “twins.” Mia revealed that the incredibly rare condition was the result of having an affair with two men at the same time.
What does “at the same time” mean exactly? I’m really not sure, and I don’t think it necessarily means a “threesome” … but I’m going to start calling her Menage ‘a Mom just in case it sticks.
The condition is called “heteropaternal superfecundation” and even the scientific name sounds kinda creepy and wrong, but it can happen. Says Washington:

Oh my goodness! I was under the impression that only Jesus was perfect! I am certain Ripley’s Believe It or Not would be interested in the world’s only perfect ever human being.
How strange, i’ve heard of this happening before…but, never seen it…to all of the nasty comments…No matter what children are a blessing from God,…Like none of you have ever made a mistake???? God bless these two little babies. Don’t comment on someone’s life until you’ve walked in their shoes….

are the eggs two different eggs that got fertized by two different sperms or one egg that split into two, then got ferilized by two sperms? or in normal identical twins situaion, eggs only split AFTER fertilization?

Soap operas may be garbage to some people. But, some of their story lines are true. Obviously, that’s one. Why on earth would she want to go public with that? She’s as bad as octomom. And, Greg Lebaron, stop the name calling!
It happened on soap opera Days of Our Lives. Sami Brady had sex with Lucas and EJ around the same time and she ended up pregnant with twins. The son is EJ’s and the daughter is Lucas’. I wondered if it was biologically possible, and now I know it is!

Uh, no, having 2 uterus’ is NOT like what this situation is. This woman had 2 eggs fertilized at 2 different times with 2 different men’s sperm but in one uterus. Absolutely nothing similar besides the number 2.
