Jon Cryer’s Ex Sarah Trigger Arrested For Child Abuse
Sarah Trigger, the ex wife of Two and a Half Men star Jon Cryer has been arrested and booked on suspicion of child abuse. Trigger was married to Cryer for five years and they have a son together, Charlie, 9. However, Charlie is apparently not the child at the center of the allegations.
Authorities are not releasing the name of the alleged victim, but according to a police report Trigger’s currently estranged husband, whom she married after divorcing Jon, notified police that his 2-year-old son’s neck had injures.
When police arrived at Trigger’s Hermosa Beach, Calif., home they discovered that the child had what appeared to be rope or cord marks around his neck and that Trigger gave conflicting reports as to how the injuries occurred, eventually telling police that it was an “accident.”
Trigger has custody of her and Cryer’s son, Charlie, but he was not home at the time of the incident. She was released on $100,000 bail and the situation is now being investigated by the Department of Children and Family Services.
