Melissa Joan Hart Shows Off Bikini Bod!
Actress Melissa Joan Hart, 33, mom of two sons, Mason, 3, and Braydon, 14 months, is showing off her new post-baby body! At 113 pounds, she’s confident enough to wear a bikini! However, the pretty Sabrina star didn’t always feel this secure with her body and it took a lot of hard work to lose 42 pounds.
From PEOPLE:
“I still read blogs about me discussing how fat I’ve become,” the former Sabrina, the Teenage Witch star tells PEOPLE in the new issue, available on newsstands Friday.
“Everyone still thinks I’m huge,” says Hart, 33, whose post-pregnancy body was the subject of cruel Internet attacks after she gave birth to sons Mason, 3, and Braydon, 14 months, with husband, Course of Nature lead singer Mark Wilkerson, 32. “But I’m not anymore!”
Hart understands the confusion. After all, the public has grown accustomed to seeing celebs get back in their skinny jeans mere weeks after giving birth. “There are enormous pressures put on you in Hollywood,” she says.
Her inspiration to finally get back in the best shape of her life? The women in her life, including her friend, actress Jaime Pressly, who has a son, Dezi, 2, as well as her own mom Paula, who gave birth to seven children “and is tiny!” Hart says. “I realized I didn’t have to be heavy just because I have kids.”
Adds Pressly: “She finally took the time to take care of herself. I’m blown away by how amazing she looks.”
Reclaiming her slim figure took Hart 14 months of hard work. “It didn’t happen by magic

I hate these “inspiring” celebrity weight loss stories. If I had tons of money and no real job (seriously, when is the last time MJH was in anything), I could have a great “bikini body” too. Sarah Michelle Gellar said it best: it’s her job to look that way, and if everyone had access to personal trainers and nutritionists, we could all look that way.
113 lbs? Please tell me she’s 4’11″.
This is great; especially how she explains that it was HARD…and as hard for her to do this as anyone. She also points out that it took several months of exercise and eating healthy, low-fat food (fruits, veggies, tuna, egg white’s etc..)
This is the nasty little secret that should deflate the whole LIE and SHAME of the “diet” book industry, a multi-billion dollar per year sham- but it doesn’t!?!?
The bottom line is YES, anyone can lose weight and become much healthier but it takes time and work and who wants to do that?! Well apparently Melissa did and it worked~
Pulse Fitness Studio is awesome!!! I see Melissa there all the time and she’s a blast!
