MamaT commented on Jan 01 70 at 12:00 amI agree wholeheartedly with Julielynn!! Kangaroo care (yep, there’s an actual medical term for putting a new baby skin to skin with mama) has been proven over and over again to have the best regulatory effects on babies – heart rate, breathing, temperature. Best especially for preemies.

Anonymous commented on Jan 01 70 at 12:00 amThat is an amazing story, but every time I come back to read it I get more and more pissed off at the doctors. Even if the babies death was a foregone conclusion, which clearly it wasn’t, to just wrap her up and set her alone to die is the cruelest thing I can imagine — both for baby and for mama.
So, yay, baby! And Yay, Mama! And BOOO! doctors!
