Brad Pitt’s Parents Disapprove of Breastfeeding Pics
There are plenty of things out there that I can’t stand and one of them is people getting in a tizzy over breastfeeding and seeing it and photos of it and the like. Look away, people, look away. One thing that bugs me even more are mothers-in-law who don’t approve, feel it’s inappropriate, even harmful or salacious. That big-breasted daughter-in-law is just out there trying to get attention!
So this little story in Star magazine (meaning, not heavily vetted or deeply sourced …) makes me feel all irritated at Brad Pitt’s mom and dad. Seems the Senior Pitts are none too happy with Brad’s photos of Angelina in W magazine.
Brad sent the two advanced copies of the magazine, and Brad’s dad is so upset he won’t even talk about it. Brad’s mom feels Brangelina are using the kids to market their various causes and believes that’s unacceptable. (She knows the two are actors, right? Their very nature is to attract attention to themselves.)
I think the pictures were grainy and not terribly interesting (though the cover was sweet, for sure) and would never have been published were it not for the name of the photog and his subject. And it probably shows a lack of good judgment on the part of Brad for sending the magazine in the first place. But he’s really into himself so he probably didn’t think about Mom and Dad’s reaction.
Still, I think they need to lighten up.

Undecided. If the $$ raised went to a great cause then it is a good reason to whore personal pictures out (I suppose?) Not really sure how I feel about their gratuitous photos about their intimate family life.
Have some personal problem with SELLING my kids first public pictures but hey, the photographers would hound and make $$ off them so why not let them get tasteful and approved pics while benefiting a great cause.
Maybe just don’t do it all the time for the heck of it?
