Stroller As Gun Rack
I’m not a hunter, so I’d never heard of a “shooting cart” before. At first glance, my reaction to this was similar to that of Internet entrepreneur Jason Calcanis, who seems amazed by its very existence. Or one of his commenters, who says, “ha, ha…you know you’re a redneck when….”
Looking more closely, though, it seems that this is not an uncommon item. From another commenter: “I actually know several people that have these. They are used for 3 gun competitions because it is very hard to safely carry 3 guns around a shooting range. They are built from the ground up as a shooting cart. This is not a stroller it just looks like one.” Greg at DaddyTypes also points out that this is a normal looking item

You are a moron. Yes, there are bad people with guns out there. But bad people also exist that have cars (drunk drivers), axes and a myriad of other ways to kill and injure people.
There are also people out there that have guns, and only use them to hunt a bit of food now and again, and to be prepared in case of someone breaking into their home. Good luck getting rid of them.

In fact, very few gun owners are “manic” rednecks – the vast majority are just law abiding citizens, (a great many of them liberal democrats, too) who mind their own business and safely store guns for competitive shooting (there are several Olympic shooting sports), hunting, target shooting, or self defense. A gun does not a maniac make…
I’ve never seen one of these, so I had to look them up for myself. Oh, and Sam- before you criticize (and call people names when you don’t agree with them) you should know what you’re talking about. That actually IS a shooting cart- look at the pic here:

I also hate to be the one to argue this, but I am sure that shooting carts have been around for just as long, if not longer, than strollers. The three wheeled variety, similar to the picture, wasn’t invented until 1980. I don’t know which idea came first, but let’s be fair here.
Oh, and I’m not a “redneck” gun owner, I’m an Northeastern suburban mom of 3. I just like it when people have all the facts.

No,the cart in the picture was not built from the ground up, that’s a stroller with shotgun mounted on the sides. How do we get rid of all the gut totin’ manic rednecks out there (which is everyone with a gun)? Seriously, it’s time for this to stop, now.
