Family Dog Saves Toddler

Joshua Childers may only be three, but, man, does he have
stories to tell. The Missouri toddler recently spent three days and two nights
alone in the wilderness after he wandered off in the vast forest behind his
house. As Joshua is treated in the hospital for hypothermia, bug bites, and
scratches, the secrets to his survival are becoming increasingly clear.

Awesome story! What a great dog! Our two daschunds are great too, and very loyal, but I seriousl doubt their ability to keep our toddler alive for several days in the woods. I feel like they would steal her food and become easily distracted.

Oh I didn’t know about the Great Pyrenees! We have one and he is without a doubt the best family dog ever. Great story.
