Moms are Naked Too

No, this isn’t about Britney.

Over at the Huffington Post, Margaret Cho expounds on how she gave up fussing at her flabby bits and learned to love being the bomb. Her suggestion? Naked dancing in front of an audience and/or naked posing in front of a camera.

No, not stripping. No, not porn, either. Just being naked in a safe space without letting your own judgments of your body get in the way of enjoying having a body. While I don’t know that I could do the full Cho, it’s advice that I — and many other women, I suspect — should take.

Maybe we should all work more nudity into our lives, if only to counter what the media tells us naked moms should look like.
