New Family Green Mag Tracks Greening of Obama, Country

Posted by on January 21st, 2009 at 10:55 am

Sure, he talks a good game, but how’s he going to live up to all those “green” promises? A new online environmental magazine pledges to keep an eye on how the Obama Administration makes good on its vows to help turn this country green– starting with a stellar article on the “greening” of the White House by our very own Madeline Holler.

I was pretty excited to see this magazine, Super Eco, take shape, because frankly, a lot of environmental, greeny stories make me feel slightly shamed for not jumping off the grid and growing baby new potatoes on my roof. SuperEco mixes humor perfectly with environmental conciousness but still gives a load of wonderful information about every day things you can do to make life a little better for us all.

Look at me — I’m gushing.

Still, want to know what to do with pesky batteries? Bottled water? The list of essays and tips is endless.

Check out Super Eco here.

If you can get my Co-Op Board to allow roof potato growing, you are more super than anyone EVER. :-)
Love the new site.

It’s great to be back on Babble, even if just for a moment!

And, Mike, it’s EASY to grow roof potatoes

Oh Mike,
You are too kind!! Many other Babble/Strollerderby writers and alums here at Super Eco: Kelly Mills, Karen Murphy, among others.

Our hearts will always belong to Babble, even as we tackle the environment.
