Put The Breast Pump Down and Back Away, Sir
I want to stipulate at the outset of this post that I’m all for gender equality and the sharing of duties when it comes to raising children. The mother can’t possibly do it all, and as the father of a child, the man must step up and do his part.
That said, I think we can all agree that some activities are the sole property of one gender. Moms carry the baby. Moms birth the baby. And dads stand there looking dumbfounded and horrified and on the verge of puking as the baby comes out. It’s what we do. We’re good at it.
It has been my experience that only bad things can come from a dad trying to cross over and do the mother’s job.
For example, this.
I rest my case.

simplynutmeg commented on Jan 01 70 at 12:00 amThank you for finally giving moms some just recognition for our pain and suffering. Since men can’t test drive labor, I guess the breast pump is the next best thing. I’d like to see that guy tackle a MANUAL one!
