The Fresh Air Fund Seeks Volunteer Host Families

low-income families in the inner city to live with families in rural areas for

I wish we lived in a state where we could be a host family for this program :( This sounds amazing and we’d love to host a child for a week or few.

I was a Fresh Air Fund kid. I grew up in the South Bronx in the late 1970s and got to run barefoot on grass for the first time thanks to this program. I will absolutely be applying to be a host, to pass on that gift to another child.
