Weekly Check-Up Follow Up: Oh My, See Your Boobs Needing That Support In Action

Posted by on September 14th, 2007 at 3:00 pm

bye bye perkyGood lord, you must see this. Remember how I posted about the figure-8 motion tits do during exercise? How it can cause damage to the delicate connective tissue, and therefore support is key? Like, kevlar-vest-like sports bra action? (And clearly, the comment consensus is: two bras. Don’t play around. Those boobies have already, sniff, been through alot.) Well, Dawn sent me a link to a site that is designed to sell sports bras of the encapsulating kind, and they have the funniest, savviest technique ever for doing it.

Okay, my advice is to skip the intro and go straight to the visual of bouncing breastesess, aka the “Bounce-ometer”. In my house we had to check every cup size possible under extreme exercise conditions, and I will say that I felt some pangs of envy–that computerized chick has way better running form than I do. Of course, I think they should add buttons so that you could factor in the incredible post-pregnancy deflation effect, and perhaps for some of our readers, man-boobs.

This isn’t sexy, but I am more entranced than I would have imagined. Clearly there’s some nipple confusion in me. But I am triple bra-ing for my run tomorrow.

I’ve been running in two sportsbras and it’s been the trick to getting back on the trail with postpartum size (and volume). I’m so glad I found out before I dropped $70-100 on one of these expensive bras.

I like how no matter what size boobs you choose, the woman still has a 24″ waist. Like that tiny model would be out jogging instead of trapped on the couch unable to get up because of the weight of her FF boobs.

I’m such a sucker for gimmicks because it does make me want one of those bras though.

I’m chiming in with the “not my boobs!” I went from an almost-C to a healthy DD and back down to a regular C. My boobs don’t look like that! I’ve found that buying a sports bra one size smaller and putting one that fits over it keeps my girls in place while running. But genetics will affect them too, and I know full well I’ll be rolling them up by the time I hit 70.

Oh wait – that’s what plastic surgeons are for!!

I told you! Isn’t that the craziest thing you’ve ever seen? :)

Ouch. That made my boobs hurt. Also their C cup is no place near my C cup. Mine look a lot bigger and hang a lot lower. They definitely need a mommy boob option.

ok that is just bizzarre. Those are so no not my post partum boobs…. If my c’s looked like that after being stretched to a DD I would be perfectly happy
