All I Want For Christmas Is You: Dads Sing Mariah Carey Holiday Classic (VIDEO)

All I want for Christmas is you…to come home.

These days there are many ways to get in to the Christmas spirit.

Or at least try to.

But if you’re still having a bit of trouble nudging your soul over from the “Dark Side” that comes with extra-short days and commercial overload, you can finally breath a sigh of relief.

Because, the “Dads” are back.

That’s right. The same bunch of fathers who lit up the internet a few months ago with their heartfelt (if a bit pitchy) rendition of “Part Of Your World” from the soundtrack to the film, The Little Mermaid, are back.

This time, with Christmas in their hearts.

You have to go about it with an open mind, of course. These guys aren’t in it to win Older American Idol or anything. Instead, their version of Mariah Carey’s modern classic “All I Want For Christmas Is You” is all heart, people.

From soldiers in uniform to tattooed barbers, from burly motorcycle dudes to guys totally comfortable in footie pajamas, this group of fathers includes all kinds brought together to earnestly sing a spliced-together Yuletide tribute to their kids.

And yes, it’s true, that perhaps a small part of these fellows really does enjoy the viral video fame that befalls them in the wake of their efforts, but hey. There are a lot of worse ways to use up your 15 minutes of fame, I’d say.

So take a minute out of your busy holiday season and crack a good smile at this thing.

Then, do your Christmas part and pass it around.
