There are few things more rewarding for a parent than seeing their child take an interest in their work (not based on fact). For instance, I love when my boys come home from school and tell me that other parents have asked them about the articles I write and shared how my stories have changed their lives. Wait, I mean I would love that if it ever happened. In the meantime I’ll have to get by with the subtle critiques from my six-year-old suggesting every story have more jokes about poop. He’s probably right.
Beck, apparently, doesn’t have that problem.
Beck played a show the Santa Barbara Bowl the other night (which, by the way, is a fantastic venue to see a show) and during the song “E Pro” he was joined on stage by his eight-year-old son, Cosimo, for a series of sweet dance moves:
That said, you don’t need to be a famous rock star to dance with your kid. Make it happen, people!
