Spring is in the air and if you have any doubts about that at all, well, I’ve got the absolute proof right here.
See, a lot of people will claim that the video you are about to watch is evidence that a certain father at a spring training baseball game is somehow negligent or careless or whatever, but I know better.
I know that what you are about to witness is just a simple case of good old fashion Spring Fever.
It can happen to anyone, at any time. You’ve been cooped up all winter long, with little kids who have been screaming and crying and bored and sick for what seems like a century. Yet, you have somehow survived the winter and now you find yourself standing out under the beautiful, life-affirming Florida sunshine, soaking in the year’s first rays as you relax on the green grass of an outfield hill. There you are, freed from winter’s chains, enjoying a baseball game between the Florida Marlins and the New York Mets with your equally grateful family.
Everything seems so perfect. You feel invincible. You smile at your wife, at you kids. You pull your young son’s stroller-wagon a little closer to the action.
And then, suddenly, a baseball … a REAL LIVE GAME BALL … is coming your way!
‘Oh, what luck!’
At least that’s what I bet this poor dad was thinking until he found himself in way over his head. Luckily for him though, this guy — to his credit — makes one heck of a save here because, between you and me, his wife does not look very happy with him.
Check out the hilarious video below.
