There are so many things I love about this video: the cute kids, the jiggly dancing, the look they share at the beginning.
But mostly, I just love the ginormous smile it puts on my face every time I watch it.
Sweet holy aunt Thelma, this is the happiest thing I’ve seen in a long time. It makes me understand lyrics like, “I’m walking on sunshine.” Because that’s what this does. You have got to check it out.
I have this fear of the Internet when it comes to letting my daughter, now 6, interact with it in basically any way whatsoever — weird, I know, for a guy who puts photos of his daughter on said internet all the freaking time. I’m not worried about still photos — I’m worried about the time suck of social media or the evilness of “sticky” games or the emotional blackmail of crap sites that foster bullying.
But then I see things like this … and I think maybe it will all be OK. The internet can actually spread some good as well. If even half the internet brightens your day like this video, things might be looking up.
So take a look. And then another. And another.
I wish all the internet was this amazing.
Hat Tip to How to be a Dad for the find and photo.
