Decorate Your Photos With the Disney Memories App!

Disney HD MemoriesMy wife and I both have iPhones (but only one of us has an iPhone 5, not that I’m jealous or anything), and the boys both have iPod Touches, because they are the luckiest kids to never know it. Between us we have a lot of apps.

For the most part there isn’t a lot of crossover between us in terms of what apps we like to use. Sure, the boys are into the same things, but my wife has her stuff, I have mine, and neither of us play Plants Vs. Zombies (although I do enjoy the occasional round of Where’s My Water).

Our download of the Disney Memories app changed that. Suddenly we found something that we all enjoyed, and it was like virtual bonding.

The Disney Memories app brings the magic of Disney Parks to your personal photos. Funny enough, the first time we used it we were actually in Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort, so it was all very meta.

The app allows you to add Disney characters (it looks like you are posing with them!), themed frames, and lots of other decorations. For instance, there wasn’t really a balloon in that top photo—that’s Disney magic in app form, people.

My boys thought it was a lot of fun, and we all spent our time in the assorted queues adding stickers and borders to our photographs.

As an added bonus, there is a themed alarm clock that features messages from assorted Disney characters. I must admit that I wasn’t expecting to find that in a photo app, but I like it!

You can download the FREE Disney Memories app at iTunes or Google Play.

Happy Disney decorating!
