Facebook Parenting: A Dad's Response to 2-Year-Olds

By now you’ve probably seen that loon who made a very public spectacle of shooting his daughter’s laptop as a punishment for … over-sharing.

Weird, I know. Try not to think about it too much and just wait for the next spectacle to unfold.

Still, what’s been missing in this debate about teenage use of the interwebs and how parents can appropriately monitor and cope with it is how we can deal with something even more troubling: 2-year-olds.

Andy over at Betadad made a very public — and very funny -- video of this far more insidious problem: “out of control” toddlers. It started with diapers and clothing wars before escalating into missed play dates.

Sad. So, so sad.

What’s a parent to do? How are we, as parents, supposed to deal with the very real menace of 2-year-olds?

I like Andy’s solution. I don’t think he’ll be missing another play date any time soon…

Take a look.
