It’s Easter Sunday, and we’re not the kind of people to let something as trivial as our not being Christians keep us from eating candy and hunting for eggs. We’re pretty open when it comes to fun. Also, candy.
“Happy Easter! It should be called Happy Eater.”
“If candy is shaped like a carrot it’s healthy, right?”
“I bet chickens hate Easter.”
And other funny things my kids have said this morning.
The grandparents are in town, the eggs have been colored, hidden, and found again. There is coffee, chocolate, love and laughter. That’s a pretty good holiday whatever the season.
That said, I know a lot of the readers here on the Internet are celebrating the holiday for reasons much more personal than big bunnies and marshmallow chicks, so to you and yours a hearty Happy Easter!
