Hey, Where’s Platypus Day?

platypus busEverybody’s favorite platypus is getting his own day, and you can help him celebrate it! I’m talking about Perry of Disney’s Phineas and Ferb fame in case you have a multitude of platypuses to choose from and couldn’t possibly decide.

Perry the Platypus, aka Agent P, is being honored on Saturday, March 2 as part of Platypus Day. What? Groundhogs should get all the attention?

Disney Channel stars will do their best to draw Perry and so can you! There will also be a special episode of Phineas and Ferb airing Friday night  (3/1) at 9:30pm/8:30c, which seems kind of late, but if there is one thing a platypus can do it is party into the night. Apparently.

The Disney Channel website will help you in your artistic pursuits, and also provide lots of Perry videos and games like Return of the Platypus and Agent P Strikes Back!

Needless to say, if you have ever wondered where Perry is, don’t worry. We’ve found him.

For those of you that are unfamiliar with Perry or the show Phineas and Ferb, where have you been? The Disney Channel hit is a favorite in our home, to the point that my wife and I have been known to watch it well after the kids have gone to bed. It is smart, funny, and has a good beat. It is well worth the space on your DVR.

Also, if you are unfamiliar with the concept of Platypus Day then you should know that it is customary to like this post on Facebook and share it on Twitter (#PLATYPUSDAY). You see, it’s about the giving.

Happy Platypus Day!

Agent P
