How to Keep Your Kids Charged

Late night for kidsThe holidays are hectic and time is fleeting. You know what I’m talking about. So it was that my boys were exhausted in the early evening and reluctant to practice for their upcoming holiday show—a show that started just shy of their normal weeknight bedtime. The Dude may abide, but little tired dudes tend to fade quickly.

One of them let slip that their batteries were low. This was offered as an alternative to their sleepiness as their mother and I were arguing that too much TV and other such culprits were to blame.

No, they insisted. It was just a power issue, and it would be resolved as soon as possible.

Luckily, I had extra batteries, so I changed them:

Problem resolved.

The show was lovely.
