Pinterest is an online community where users of this very same internet can “pin” items (actually, users pin photos that are automatically linked to their source for your browsing enjoyment) that they like to “boards” they have created. Michael Schmid summed it up pretty well on his confessional post, “A Guy on Pinterest? Alert the Media!” It’s quite pinteresting.
See what I did there?
So why should you be doing the Pinterests? Because it’s fun! Also, Babble has a Pinterest page (so do I), and we can provide you with a coveted Pinterest invite. Yes, it’s all so members only and Costco cliquish, but in a good way. If you would like one of our Pinterest invites then leave your email in the comments below.
Basically, Pinterest is a great way to spend your online time while you are waiting for Ashton to retweet the hilarious thing you said in less than 140 characters. Don’t give up on that.
