There is something scary happening on Club Penguin, and your penguin can be part of it. That’s right, there is a Club Penguin takeover happening June 27 – July 9, and it features Pixar’s Monsters University (MU). The island should be downright electric.
Monsters University, the movie, opened in theaters last week and all of your favorite monsters are back! But that’s not all! They have been joined by a large cast of new characters (some of them scarier than others), and now they are aiming their scare doors toward Club Penguin.
Don’t worry, you don’t need a closet in your igloo to join in the fun—just a love of monsters and higher education.
During the MU Takeover players can dress their penguins as the monster of their choice, surprise their friends, and join the Scare Games just like Mike and Sulley did in the movie! Is that a spoiler? I don’t think so.
Club Penguin players will be able to join a team (one of three rival fraternities or a scary sorority) and compete in the Scare Games for a chance to win a monstrous prize! There is sure to be a lot of roaring, scaring, and fun.

My boys are counting down the days, and I’ll be right there with them!

The Monsters University Takeover features shown require a paid Club Penguin membership. Kids, ask your parent(s) for permission! Parents, you probably don’t have to ask anyone.
