When you’re up there on a stage playing your guitar under the lights anything can happen.
For gospel and country singer Coffey Anderson, it also can allow for one of the coolest moments in a musical career.
On New Year’s Eve, as Coffey was entertaining a good crowd in Irving, Texas with a rendition of Van Morrison’s ‘Brown Eyed Girl’, he was joined on stage by a very special guest, according to an msn.com piece.
Who was it??!!
No, not Springsteen.
It was better than that. It was Coffey’s cute 17-month-old son, Ethan, who (when you watch the funny video) seems to have broken away from his backstage vantage point and heads straight out toward dear old dad to give him a big bear hug.
It’s a pretty cool moment for a musician and a daddy.
Then, after Coffey smiles up a storm and acknowledges his son without missing a beat, young Ethan launches into some fine dancing for the crowd who clearly are thrilled with it all.
Check it out.
