Here are some tricks and tips that will help you feel good about your choices and help you concentrate on what matters most in life: Being happy, healthy and spending quality time with your loved ones in 2014.
Keep Your Resolutions (at Disney!) 1 of 12
Which of these resolutions are on your list for 2014?
Get More Exercise (at Disney) 2 of 12
There is no better way to exercise at Disneyland Resort or Walt Disney World than to sign up for the Happiest Race on Earth! There are lots of different events to choose from each year at RunDisney. They say when you run at Disney, every mile is magic! Even if you aren't a runner, you can still get in lots of walking around the parks.
If you happen to be staying at one of the Disney resorts, they have gyms and fitness rooms for guests. Depending on what time of the year it is, take advantage of the gorgeous Disney resort swimming pools while on your vacation. Learning to surf at Disney Aulani Resort is another great way to get in a major workout. As you can see, there are so many options to stay active with Disney!
Face Your Fears (at Disney) 3 of 12
We don't know about you, but there are still attractions that two of us (ahem) Disney Sisters refuse to go on. The Tower of Terror in Disney California Adventure is one of them. I mean, even the name has terror in it. Eeek! In 2014 we are working on overcoming our Disney fear factor. Whether you are afraid of heights, dips, loops, or even crowds, what better place is there than an amusement park to take on your fears? C'mon you can do it!
Take More Photos (at Disney) 4 of 12
As parents, there is nothing more valuable to us than looking back through our photos and videos of time that we've spent together as a family. Kids grow up so fast, which is why it's important to capture them at all ages and stages. And now with the superb photograph and video quality on smart phones, there is no reason that we shouldn't be stalking our children like the paparazzi. But if you would like a little help capturing the magic, the Disney PhotoPass is at your service. Photographers around the parks will take your photos, which you can view and purchase online later!
Connect with Nature (at Disney) 5 of 12
The world and all of its wonder is waiting for you to explore it. Get outdoors! Exotic animals and exciting adventures await you at Disney's Animal Kingdom park, the largest animal theme park in the world. You can also opt to stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge; its spectacular views feature the park's grazing wildlife just outside the rooms and public areas. It's truly like being in an African savanna. Need an even bigger nature fix? Take the trip of a lifetime with Adventures by Disney, set sail on a one-of-a-kind voyage to an exotic location on a Disney Cruise, or find your own tropical paradise on the white sandy beaches at Disney Aulani Resort and Spa. There is so much beauty to see in the world, so get out there and discover the magic!
Eat Healthy (at Disney) 6 of 12
There's actually more healthy options at Disney Parks than you probably know of: Fruit carts, salads, sandwiches, lean proteins, veggie snacks, pickles, hummus with pretzels, trail mix, apple crisps, etc. If you look closely, the Mickey Check icon is on select kids' meals and fruit carts throughout Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts, making it easy to select a wholesome option. You can also find the Mickey Check on Disney food products in grocery stores nationwide. Discover other ways to incorporate the Magic of Healthy Living into your family's lifestyle -- you won't regret it!

Learn Something New (at Disney) 8 of 12
Did you know that Disney offers classes and seminars for young people? Explore, inquire and be inspired with the Disney Youth Education Series. These programs take place year-round in the Disney Parks in Florida and California to give students (from elementary school to college) a hands-on, educational adventure. This collection of guided field studies (available in Applied Sciences, Environmental Studies, Liberal Arts and Leadership Development), is accredited, standards-based and designed to reinforce classroom lessons. Emphasizing teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, each group participates in one-of-a-kind moments that use the magic of Disney to make learning even more meaningful.

Take Care of Yourself (at Disney) 9 of 12
Become your own best friend this year! If you don't take care of yourself, you won't be any good to anyone else. Why not carve out some special "me" time this year? You are worth it! Take a day to indulge in an array of massages, facials, wraps and other relaxing treatments at the world-class Mandara Spa at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa? You can also take a luxurious spa day at Laniwai while on your Hawaiian vacation at Aulani Resort. By just doing a little research, you can figure out the best places to get some R&R on your next Disney trip.
Save Money (at Disney) 10 of 12
There are some things that you can do to save money while at Disney. You can find offers and discounts if you visit Disney's official websites and do a little research before each trip. Going on now, Southern California residents can save with this 2014 Disneyland Resort theme park ticket offer. If you're planning on staying overnight, you can save up to 25% at a Disneyland Resort Hotel on select nights, 1/5/14 - 4/10/14 as long as you book now through 1/28/14! For Walt Disney World Resorts, save up to 30% on rooms at select Disney Resort hotels, valid for stays most nights March 14 - April 12 and April 20 - June 15, 2014.
Date Your Spouse (at Disney) 11 of 12
2014 is the perfect year to rekindle the flame in your marriage. We all get busy and caught up in the day-to-day tasks, and sometimes the people we care most about move down on the list of priorities. Well it's time to plan some dates with your significant other! Depending on which resort you're visiting, there are plenty of choices to wine and dine the love of your life. Did you know that there is a winery inside of Disney California Adventure? The Napa Rose is an excellent destination for date night! If you're anything like us, an adult day at Disneyland is sometimes all that it takes to reconnect with your spouse. After all, it all started with some of the best-ever role models for long-lasting relationships -- Mickey and Minnie Mouse!
Live in the Moment (at Disney) 12 of 12
When you walk into the gates of Disneyland (or any other Disney Park), you are immediately transformed into a childlike state. Your senses are heightened, time seems to stand still, and often all of your cares and worries may even melt away. This type of pure joy comes from living in the moment, and keeps us all coming back for more. We all have a Disney Side; it's the side of you that's filled with wonder and looks at life with a sparkle in your eye. That's all part of the Disney Magic.
Now that you’ve seen how easy your resolutions are to keep at Disney Parks, get inspired to make more! Disney has just launched a new site, Disney Resolutions, where every day in January Disney celebrities share their Family Time Resolutions. Bonus? They are also giving away a Disney trip-a-day through January 31, 2014.
