Angelina Jolie and Stella McCartney Create Kids' Maleficent Clothing Collection | BabbleYou know that whole “it takes a village” mindset when it comes to momming?

Angelina Jolie and Stella McCartney are channeling it into the most creative expression of clothing ever.

Yep. In anticipation of Walt Disney Studios’ Maleficent, designer and mom of four, Stella McCartney, teamed up with mom of six, Angelina Jolie, and the House of Mouse to create a capsule collection under her Stella McCartney Kids label.

Inspired by the highly anticipated film based on the untold story of the iconic villain from the 1959 classic Sleeping Beauty, the collaborative designs borrow from the fantasy’s characters and visuals, and include eight playfully edgy styles for boys and girls ages 4-14.

The entire collection will be available at select Disney stores (online and free-standing) kids’ specialty clothiers and at Stella McCartney stores worldwide by the end of April. What’s more, 10 percent of each piece sold in Stella McCartney stores and online will benefit the SOS Children’s Villages charity, which works to provide suitable homes for abandoned, orphaned and vulnerable children.

Maleficent will cast its spell over audiences everywhere on May 30, 2014.

Starring Angelina Jolie as the iconic evil fairy, the untold story unfolds with elements of her betrayal that ultimately turn her pure heart to stone. Driven by revenge and a fierce desire to protect the moors over which she presides, Maleficent places an irrevocable curse upon the human king’s newborn infant, Aurora. As the child grows, Aurora is caught in the middle of the seething conflict between the forest kingdom she has grown to love and the human kingdom that holds her legacy. Maleficent realizes that Aurora may hold the key to peace in the land and is forced to take drastic actions that will change both worlds forever.
