The new Mickey Mouse shorts have been a big hit with our family (see, “Potatoland“). Needless to say, we jumped at the opportunity to animate a Mickey Mouse short of our own with the new Disney app Mickey Mouse: Mash-Up.
Seriously, who doesn’t want to animate their own Mickey Mouse short?
In the new Disney app Mickey Mouse: Mash-Up, kids of all ages can draw, play games, and help Mickey get out of trouble (and dressed!). Plus, users can view clips from the Mickey Mouse short “No Service!”
My favorite part is that you can draw your own character to accompany Mickey on his journey, and all of the hijinks and hilarity that comes with it.
Mickey Mouse: Mash-Up features narration by said mouse, drawing prompts to help him on his adventure, and a gallery to host all of your own drawings.
I downloaded the app for my boys, who, obviously, love it. They think it is very funny. The bonus is that I enjoy it, too. A family that animates a Mickey Mouse short together, plays Mickey Mouse: Mash-Up together. Or something like that.
Bottom line, it is well worth the $3.99 to purchase Mickey Mouse: Mash-Up! Your kids (and you) will have a blast!
