I love Disney villains, and I also love musical theater — mash the two together and you get genius. Pure genius. American Idol alum Todrick Hall created a wonderful ode to everyone’s favorite Disney baddies and one of the most iconic Broadway musical numbers ever in the form of the “Blood Cell Tango,” a spin-off of “Cell Block Tango” from Chicago.
Hall got his hands on some stellar talent, with Glee‘s Amber Riley taking on the role of Ursula from The Little Mermaid and Adam Lambert doing a cameo as Captain Hook. Hall himself plays Scar from Lion King. They sing, they dance, they scowl — it’s pretty much perfect, and the production values are top notch.
