“Pass the Plate” With Disney Channel for Healthier Living

pass-the-plate-disney-channel-series-season-2-health-foodThe Disney Channel wants our kids to be healthy, which is nice, because we want that, too. We’re like a team!

Pass the Plate is a series of short videos hosted by two of the stars from Disney Channel’s hit show Jessie, Peyton List and Karan Brar (the first season was hosted by Brenda Song, see video below), that encourages kids to be healthier by showcasing cultural information, agriculture and natural resource conversation, and nutritional facts about food and cooking.

Each episode travels around the world to focus on one type of food, including where and how it is grown, and explaining the health benefits and tips for preparation and the enjoyment there of. They even encourage and empower kids to help out in the kitchen, and that’s a life skill!

Pass the Plate aims to inform kids (and their families) and provide them the tools to live healthier. It’s good TV. Also available on the Internet.
