Princess Fairytale Hall Opening September 18 at Magic Kingdom

Even though New Fantasyland in Walt Disney World Resort‘s Magic Kingdom officially opened to the public in December of 2012, the expansion of Fantasyland continues with the much-anticipated opening of Princess Fairytale Hall in the Magic Kingdom, slated for this fall.

Disney Parks has announced that Princess Fairytale Hall will open September 18 at Magic Kingdom!

The Fantasyland expansion is the largest expansion project in the history of the Magic Kingdom, and the opening of Princess Fairytale Hall has been highly anticipated by Disney Princess fans young and old. Since the closing of the princess meet and greet area in what used to be Mickey’s Toontown Fair, guests of Magic Kingdom have been able to meet their favorite Disney Princesses at Town Square Theater.

The opening of Princess Fairytale Hall this fall will move the princesses to a more royal location, just behind Cinderella’s Castle. In the space formerly occupied by Snow White’s Scary Adventures, Princess Fairytale Hall will feature a castle-like entrance with walls of stone and stained glass windows, opening to a large portrait gallery featuring the portraits of the Disney princesses. Each inner chamber will feature two princesses for guests to meet and greet.
