Snow White’s Seven Dwarfs Reimagined as Real Life Characters

Ever wonder what the Seven Dwarfs would look like in real life?

Well, as close to real life as they can get anyway?

Graphic artist Jordy Lakiere did, and his Middle Earth-ish take on Snow White’s sidekicks went viral.

“One of my 3D artist friends was doing reworks of old Disney characters from 2D to 3D,” Lakiere said as we chatted over email. “I really loved it and it got a lot of attention. I’ve always had a fondness of fantasy, dwarven type illustrations as well as alternative art.”

Inspired, Lakiere says “it was a quick link to recreate the Seven Dwarfs in a sort of The Hobbit style. I never expected it to blow up this much and get almost half a million album views [and] make #1 on Reddit, though I’m quite honoured!”

Wonder if he whistles while he works?
