I adore the special makeovers that Disneyland does on their rides in celebration of the holidays. There is Haunted Mansion getting gloriously transformed into an ode to Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas, the hauntings that take place in the Ghost Galaxy takeover on Space Mountain, and who can resist the holiday season joy that is sprinkled all over It’s a Small World? And now there is a new transformation that will be taking place … the classic ride Jungle Cruise will be made into Jingle Cruise!
Starting in early November at both Disneyland and at the Magic Kingdom in Disney World, the always popular Adventureland attraction will get a holiday makeover, as well as getting “a new seasonal storyline with plenty of gags.”
Disney Parks says that, as the new story goes, “Skippers have grown homesick for the holidays, so they’ve added holiday cheer to the Jungle Cruise queue and boathouse with decorations that have been mailed to them from home (plus a few they’ve created themselves).”
I, for one, can’t wait to go one this very merry Jingle Cruise!
