UP-Inspired Photo Shoot Proves Love is the Best Adventure of All

So this is love.

Sweethearts “Nina and Gramps” are quite possibly the most adorable couple I’ve ever seen. Ever. Especially when you place them in the middle of an UP-inspired anniversary photo shoot on Boston’s Old Northern Avenue Bridge – their very first photo shoot of any kind.

61 years ago, the couple’s wedding photographer stood them up. Knowing that some proper portraits of the two were long overdue, granddaughter-in-law and event planner, Lauren Wells, asked her friend and photog, Cambria Grace, to join her in creating a whimsical photo session that could capture a love 61 years strong.

“I have always loved Disney movies,” says Cambria. “We were inspired by the balloons Lauren had left over from a wedding, and we both instantly thought that UP would be a perfect theme for a shoot.”

Obviously. Just look and be amazed and wowed and teary and immediately understand why the whole thing went viral.

“Lauren’s grandparents are amazing people,” Cambria adds, “and we knew they would be perfect for the photo shoot.”

And just so you know, “Gramps” always wears a bow tie.

Swoon.
