Have you ever found yourself planning a family vacation and facing the Disney versus tropical island dilemma? It happens. Luckily, Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa can help. Aulani (ow-la-nee) has something for everyone. Now with a special offer!
Here is the aforementioned special offer: Guests that book a minimum 5-night stay by September 3, 2013, will receive their fifth consecutive night free (excludes Ocean View Rooms and Villas), plus a one-time $100 Aulani Resort credit (expires upon departure)!
This offer is valid for stays most nights August 26 through November 23, 2013, and December 1 through December 15, 2013—remember, you must book by September 3, 2013! Rooms allocated to this offer are limited.
Or, if you would prefer an Ocean View Room or Villa, you can save 15% on your nightly rate and receive the one-time, $100 Aulani Resort Credit, valid when you book a minimum 5-night stay during the same travel period.
The resort is located in Ko Olina, Hawai’i on the island of O’ahu, about 30 minutes from Honolulu International Airport. It sits on a beautiful slice of sand and sea, and offers all of the amenities and luxuries that one would expect (or at least hope for) from a Hawaiian resort. Of course, the difference in Aulani is in the magic—the Disney magic, which I was lucky enough to experience firsthand at the resort’s grand opening.
What is unique about Aulani’s version of the magic is that it comes from Disney doing something that might surprise some people—they let Hawai’i tell the story. It is as simple as that. The emphasis of Aulani is on Hawai’i: the people, the culture, the stories. A common phrase that I heard from Disney Imagineers during my visit was “Big H, little d.” And it is the little bit of Disney that makes all the difference.
Disney’s Aulani is a living, breathing testament to the islands. It showcases a respect and collaboration between one of the greatest story-telling cultures in the world and a company built upon storytelling. The result is breathtakingly beautiful and instantly timeless.
I don’t believe I need to go into great detail about the romance of Aulani, because: Hawai’i, but know that Disney’s resort and spa is also sprinkled with plenty of pixie dust for the entire family.
In addition to the natural wonders of Hawai’i and the popular tourist sites of the island, the resort offers an array of family fun. Spoiler: most of it is wet.
Here are some of the family-friendly offerings of Aulani (please note, these videos were filmed at the grand opening and enhancements and expansions have taken place in some areas):
Book now! You deserve it.
