I never had a Sega Genesis, so I lived in blissful ignorance of all that I was missing, namely, Castle of Illusion, which, apparently, is an awesome video game in which Mickey Mouse tries his darn tootin’ hardest to free Minnie from the evil witch Mizrabel.
Well, guess who has two thumbs and is in luck? This guy. Also, you. Castle of Illusion is back, re-imagined with all-new HD graphics and gameplay … I don’t know what that means, but I bet it’s pretty cool!
Here’s what you can expect to encounter on your journey: enchanted forests, hordes of rebellious toys, mazes of living books (I like to think that every book is alive with the story inside), hidden challenges, classic costumes, and all kinds of magical adventures.
We’re coming, Minnie!
The game is out now and available for PC Download, Xbox Live Arcade, and PlayStation Network. It is rated E for Everyone (mile fantasy violence).
